Since the trains come so frequently (currently every 4 to 6 minutes) the Metro stations are designed strictly as transit stations. Though they are very clean and bright there are no seats, restrooms, phones or other non-essential creature comforts. These leaning rails allow waiting passengers to relax while waiting for the next train. (photo by Catherine Hart, Via Suzuki)
