Our trips are intended to be more than a quick flash of inspiration, followed by returning home to business as
usual. One of the ways that we encourage participants to become more engaged in promoting the vision that they may have
embraced on these trips is by challenging each group to come up with a tangible goal or deliverable that they can support as an
ongoing effort. Here are some of the projects undertaken by our previous groups.
March 2006, Curitiba - Visions of Sustainable Mobility
poster, in progress.
September 2005, Sweden/Denmark trip - in progress
May 2005, Berlin trip - participants
Statement of Aspirations,

May 2005, Sweden/Denmark trip - participants drafted a
Resolution, supporting the designation of Seattle's 2nd Avenue
as a street that will serve as a model of how people,
pedestrians, and bicyclists can co-exist with motorized
transportation to create a more vibrant city.
March 2004, Sweden/Denmark trip - participants sponsored and helped create a series of white papers on sustainability issues,
published in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce and now featured in the Solutions
at a Glance series in our Learning Center.
